Recede shows job vacancies, lets you record the ones you apply for, and tracks whether employers respond — building a picture of which companies actually reply and how quickly.
Listings are collected from employers' own public career-board feeds and public job aggregators. We do not control their accuracy and do not verify them. A role may be filled, withdrawn or misdescribed by the employer. Listings that disappear from their source are marked inactive, but there is always a lag.
Listing flags such as "Follow up early" and "Ask for detail" are heuristics based on public signals — no salary disclosed, an old posting date, repeated reposting. They are suggestions, not findings of fact about any employer's intentions.
A company's score is computed from outcomes that users have logged and chosen to share. It reflects what our users reported — nothing more. It is not a statement of fact about the company, not a review, and not an accusation. Sample sizes are shown honestly, and small samples are labelled as such, because a score built on three applications means very little.
Recede has two plans. Free costs nothing and allows five applications in any 24-hour period. Unlimited costs €9 per month and allows thirty in any 24-hour period, with no limit on how many you track in total.
Both limits are counted over a rolling 24 hours from the moment each application is logged, not from a fixed daily reset.
The daily cap on the paid plan is deliberate. It is well above what anyone can write well in a day, and it exists so the response data the service is built on is not diluted by bulk, untargeted sending.
You can change plan or cancel at any time. Cancelling returns you to the Free plan; everything you have already logged stays in your account and remains exportable.
Payment is not yet connected. No card details are collected and nobody is charged; the Unlimited plan is currently available at no cost. These terms describe how the plans will work once billing is switched on.
You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.
The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, and may change or stop. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose. Job data comes from third-party feeds that can change or disappear without notice.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost opportunities, missed applications, inaccurate listings, or decisions made on the basis of a score or a listing flag. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using Recede at any time and ask for your account to be deleted; deletion removes your profile, applications, documents and CV. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other users.
